Mercedes Burns ( website ) is an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Before this position, she obtained her bachelor's degree at Macalaster College, a PhD at the University of Maryland. In this episode, which is part 2 of a 2-part conversation, she discusses some of the interesting facets of Opiliones biology and what she has found as a researcher (including findings regarding sexual conflict and asexual reproduction).
